The Big Reveal!

OK, here is the long awaited Christmas project the girls and I have worked on since October. We held 'photoshoots' in the studio at Klaussner, complete with hair, makeup and wardrobe changes for each month. The little divas really got into it for the most part.....maybe I should look into some modeling lessons???? hmm....After about five school nights of shooting until 10:00 I had to start bribing them to get the shots I really wanted! But...overall, I think it turned out great and I hope all who received one will enjoy it all year long.

Our beautiful, sweet Hailey went to heaven today. She was almost 16 years old and lived a long and happy life. We will miss her, but we know she is in a better place.

Dolley Madison

October is biography month at Courtney's school. They each chose a person to research. Courtney chose Dolley Madison. They were required to write a paper and create a display board with facts about their person. Wednesday night they participated in a living wax museum, where they displayed their work and dressed up like their character. She did a great job, so if anyone needs to know anything about Dolley Madison, Courtney is the expert!

Les Schobert 1946-2008

To a wonderful, father, son, brother and grandfather, you are greatly missed.

Grant’s father passed away after a short battle with cancer on October 14, 2008. He was 61 years old. Please keep Grant and the rest of our family in your prayers.

New Project

The girls and I are working a new project.....that was supposed to be a secret. However, we have not done a very good job at keeping it quiet. Especially since Cassidy has photos plastered all over her myspace page! Anyway, here is a little teaser.

Blue Devils

Well, we have taken on even more this school year. In addition to dance classes and girl scouts, Courtney has decided to cheer for the Blue Devils little league team. This Saturday was picture day......doesn't she look cute?

A Good Day!

We got to meet Genevieve Gorder on Saturday. She was sooooo nice and down to earth. I don't know why Cassidy was afraid to stand too close. She really didn't bite.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can paint these walls? I think I can manage the double height walls, but I think I am going to need some kind of device to maneuver over the stair case.

Latest Project

I just completed the design for the new klaussner contract tradeshow booth. It will make it's first appearance at the HD Boutique exposition and conference this September in Miami Beach, Florida. It will then make it's rounds to various tradeshows and finally be expanded to 20' x 30' for the 2009 Vegas Market.

Courtney's second grade class had a little end of the year ice cream party on Friday afternoon. Her teacher Miss Kesslick gave awards to everyone in the class. Courtney received the 'Most Stylish Award'. It reads......'The award for Most Stylish is hereby presented to Courtney Schobert. Courtney always has the cutest outfits! She is super stylish. Courtney just might be on the cover of Vogue one day!' WOW! She was absolutely thrilled!

Step One Complete

Well, I can't move and every muscle in my body aches, but we completed step one over the weekend. We poured the concrete slab that the hot tub will sit on! We used 28, 80lb bags of concrete!!! That is first and last time I will ever do that!!! On to step two.....
